Andi was born in September of 2008, and this picture is her outside in the cat tunnel to the cat pen that went under the apple tree in late May of 2009. I was her first spring, and the first time she had smelled apple blossoms. She would have been around 7 1/2 months old.

Patty is a silver abyssinian and Leon is the orange tabby. I used to call them "Silver and Gold" when they were cuddled up like this. Leon was amazing socially. There is no other cat that gets along or got along with her other than Leon. Leon's sister Elly-May tried for a while to be friends with Patty, but her temperment eventually pushed Elly-May away.

Taken 20 years ago yesterday. I remember taking the picture. Cornelius, who was an indoor cat, outside in the dog pen. He loved being in here, I think he felt safe. I would let him wander around, but he would go back to the pen, want in, look around for a while, then sleep. I would be doing gardening while he was there.

For no reason, I decided to look back to May of 2005 and see what was happeing with the cats. Cornelius the tuxedo with Felemur the lynx point siamese enjoying some nice weather on the back deck. On the chair under Cornelius, and on the green towel right over Felemur's head are fallen Manitoba Maple tree flowers. A sure sign it is mid-May when the picture was taken.
