Today is the day I got Avensby 9 years ago. This is the first picture of her. She wasn't very happy at first, but by the next day she was a happy kitten.

Norton in the middle just got a haircut the other day by me. He feels much better - his coat was so long before. I thought it was too hot for that much fur. I could have done a better job, but Norton kept squirming the whole time making his haircut look a bit choppy.

Today my mom would have been 93 if she were still alive. Daisy was the cat my mom bonded with when I moved back with my mom when she was 79. My mom missed Daisy when she had to go into a nursing home when she got too ill to be at home. Daisy passed away this year on March 18, so hopefully they can spend time together again.
