7 years ago today Leon passed away (August 18, 2018). I truly miss him. He was too young to go. He was about 1 month away from turning 9 years old. He is here with his best friend Fiona. After Leon passed away, Fiona was never really the same. I still have Leon's sisters Andi and Elly-May. His sister Daisy passed away in March of this year - strangely also on the 18th of the month like Leon, and his sister Chessie who also passed away in 2018, in January, also from pancreatic cancer. His mother, named Mumma-Puma also passed away in 2018 in December, again from pancreatic cancer.

Today is the 14th anniversary of the passing of Cornelius. I also use this as the day I remember all my past cats. This is the last picture of my great friend Cornelius. He completely changed me as a person, and radically changed my life. My gratitude to him, and his influence on me is unending.

Happy Cornelius Day! We found Cornelius on this day in 2002. Cornelius was most happy with life when on vacation at Aylen Lake in Ontario, Canada just at the corner of Algonquin Park. He loved spending time on the beach and docks watching fish and boats come and go.

Cornelius in October of 2006 sleeping in the sun on a chair in a cabin on Aylen Lake Ontario, Canada. He spent the morning on the beach watching boats, on the docks watching fish, going for a walk, then coming back to the cottage for food, then passing out in the sun on this chair. I don't think Cornelius was happier than here.
