13 years ago today Cornelius passed away. This picture of him through my basement window taken from outside gives me the feeling of him watching from the other side. I use today to remember all my cats that have passed, sort of my cat rememberance day.

Happy Cornelius Day! 22 years ago today Cornelius was found. He had, and still has, a huge impact on my life. He has been gone quite a while - 2011, but rarely a day goes by that I don't think of him. A great gift from the universe.

Andi on the left was about 10 months old here. Cornelius on the right would have been 11 years old. Andi adored Cornelius, and Cornelius just loved having kittens around. The previous November, a mom cat and her five kittens moved in, and Cornelius became energized. He loved the kittens, played with them, and snuggled up with them. He took having the kittens move in as a gift for him.
