Fiona

Fiona yawning in the basket by the window. Notice how her tongue forms a ladle. I've read this is how cats use their tongue to pick up water when drinking, but it happens so fast, you can't really see it when they are doing it.

Margarita

Margarita has only about 6 teeth left. When I took her to the vet soon after she was found, it turned out she had a condition known as tooth resorption, or what used to be called feline odontoclastic resorptive lesion (FORL) or cervical line lesion. Once her teeth were removed, she was a much happier cat.
